does anyone know of any good performance monitoring software for Microsoft SQL Server 2000? How about any articles on Fine tuning your SQL server

There's usually no need to buy any additional software - Windows Performance
Monitor (perfmon) has a huge array of counters for your use. Quest Software
have a slightly easier-to-use tool that you might like to investigate, after
getting used to the main counters in perfmon.
