Performance Monitor Logs and Alerts

Hello,
Im checking some Performance Logs and Alerts on my
Database Servers, right now i've a total of 66 counters
running with 5 minutes interval in one server. I really
don't know if its possible that these counters may degreed
a lot the performance of the server. I hope that you can
give me your opinion about this.

CC&JMThey will take SOME performance from the server, but not much. You may
also wish to monitor network traffic, but I wouldn't worry too much.
When faced with these situations it is often good to have benchmarked
your SQL Server environment so that you can judge the impact of using
such tools.
